It was sap collecting time for this farmer from North Pomfret, VT. His large family were often gathered together to help dump the sap buckets into a big tank on the horse drawn sled. This logging road was on a plateau overlooking the farm and the distant mountain. The horses were well behaved and often rewarded with treats. No wonder they had such a good attitude! They worked steadily with such majesty.
